I have felt the embarrassment of living in CHAOS (Can’t Have Anyone Over Syndrome.)
I have experienced countless hours of procrastination because I didn’t know where to start.
I had so much negative self-talk about not following-through with my intention to get organized that I fell into paralyzing overwhelm!
I was such a perfectionist that it made me fearful of letting anything go. The underlying fear caused me to get caught in a debilitating loop which started with this question, “What would happen if I needed it “someday” and I no longer possessed it? If I let it go and then later needed it, it meant I made a mistake and that is a mortal sin to a perfectionist!
I had so much attachment to memorabilia that the thought of someone else having a part of my past caused me to keep EVERYTHING!!!
